This section of the Publicity Manual is designed to help make your public relations activities as much fun as possible by taking some of the work out of the function. Numerous examples of news releases are provided to cover situations and activities your club may engage in. Use the samples to fit your particular situation, modifying the material as needed. Type your finished copy, double-spaced, on one side of letterhead stationery. If you follow the format provided, newspeople will find the information you provide easier to use. That's the first step in the determination of whether or not the material will be used.
