| This award was
established in 1960 by the Education Council of the Graphic Arts
Industry. It is presented to individuals who have made outstanding
contributions to graphic arts education while in the service of a
national association. It publicly recognizes those individuals among
association members who have been exceptionally farsighted and
unselfish in obtaining graphic arts education.
The person selected for this award is honored at the GATF Education Council Meeting usually held in March of each year. In addition, the recipient is again honored for the achievement at the June Annual Convention of the NALC. Candidates for this award must be a member in good standing with a local Litho club. Selection is based on the following criteria:
Letters of recommendation must reach NALC headquarters no later than December 15, since nominees must be sent to the Education Council by January 10 of each year. Previous Award Recipients
