NALC Litho Member of the Year Award(AWARD FOR NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT)Application due by May 15
| This award was
established by NALC in 1976 and is presented annually at the NALC
Convention. It recognizes that individual who has contributed in an
outstanding manner towards the progress and development of the litho
club movement.
The individual selected for the presentation can be recognized by a series of small but consistent efforts over the course of a period of time, or it can be for one big annual achievement. Candidates for this award must be a member in good standing of a local litho club. He/she may nominate themselves or be nominated by another member of a local litho club or by a local litho club itself. A letter of recommendation should include years in the printing industry as well as the number of years a member of a local litho club. The letter of recommendation should also include specific achievements rather than printing knowledge or philosophy. Activity in local or national office is not a major criteria. This letter should reach NALC Headquarters no later than May 15.
Please note that there is one Litho Member of the Year Award presented annually. There was an exception in 1976 (the initial presentation) when three members were so honored, and in 1977, when two members were honored.
